-Honum

-Honum is the suffix used for genders that are related, in some way, to being a nonhuman.

It should not be used for identities that are only related to specific kinds of nonhumanity (ex. kinnning), and should only be used for genders related to being [x] nonhuman.

For a comprehensive list of genders that use this suffix, please see Category:-Honum.

Please don’t use -honum for genders that are only related to specific kinds of nonhumanity like kinning. I coined it with the idea that the only exclusions for identifying with those specific genders would be people who didn’t identify as the kind of nonhumanity that gender is related to (like no one who isn’t a void nonhuman identifying as voidhonum) and no other exclusions. That’s it.

It was meant to make pretty broad terms. The definition doesn’t even really imply that it applies to genders that exclude specific ‘ways’ of being nonhuman. It’s literally just, genders related to being nonhuman. Here’s the literal definition.

I get that I could’ve made it more clear then, but that’s what I’m doing now. -Honum only applies to genders related to being [x] nonhuman (dragon nonhuman, sheep nonhuman, etc.). If you want to make more exclusive nonhuman-related genders, fine, but leave -honum out of it, please. ~Mod Em
