Triflux (or Trigenderflux) is a term under the multiflux umbrella that describes those who experience three separate genders but all three fluctuate in intensity. This can occur in multiple ways, such as:

  • All three genders could fluctuate in intensity at the same time.
  • As one gender becomes more intense the other two genders becomes faint.
  • The genders fluctuate at random, unrelated to each other.

A subset of triflux and trifluid is trifluix.

History

It is uncertain as to when exactly triflux was coined but it has at least been around since 2016.[1]

On January 19th, 2018, ask-pride-color-schemes created three flags for the term.[2]
