Audiogender Flag by imoga-pride

Audiogender is a term with two definitions:

  1. Audiogender can refer to a subset of mutogender in which the more one hears about a certain gender, the more one actively becomes that gender.
  2. As an umbrella term, audiogender is a subgroup of aesthetigender identities that are primarily based on sound or music. These genders can be inspired by music or sounds, be influenced by sounds, or primarily use audio or music to best describe their gender.

History

Audiogender was coined on May 3, 2015 by an anonymous Tumblr submitter to themogai-archive blog.[1]
