Skylark is a xenogender identity in which one's gender is related to the air, and even specifically the different layers of the atmosphere of earth. Their gender may begin to feel a specific connection relating to the atmosphere and their specific layer, or the wider air around them itself.
Skylark is a gender that may be acquired over time through forming a connection to the sky. This may be travelling in/flying airplanes, helicopters, going skydiving, etc. or going to space or Antarctica due to one's large, unrestricted view of the open sky. One's gender often retains traits from before this shift as well.
