Perian was named after the flower periwinkle as the gender is part of the garden alignment system.
History
The term perian was coined by Fandom user Bendy and the Dark Revival on May 17th, 2023. The perian flag was coined on the same date by the same user.[1] The flower on the flag is the periwinkle, the same flower that the gender is named after.
