History
The Paint Collection was first mentioned by Tumblr user mogai-sunflowers in a Paint Collection genders on August 22nd, 2021.[2] Later, on May 25th, 2025, Fandom user Fireflyforest recoined the word.[3] On June 5th, 2025, Fandom user .sweetest.nectar. created a flag for the Paint Collection.[1]
