Nonera or Nonpuella is a gender identity in which one's gender is not woman in any way, shape, or form, but one feels a strong connection to femininity within their gender.

The masculine equivalent of nonera is nonvir; their combination is nonvirmina.

History

Nonera was coined on an unknown date by an unknown user.

Etymology

Nonera is Latin for "not woman" and nonpuella is latin for "not girl".

Flag

The nonera flag was coined on an December 22nd, 2015 by pastelmemer on DeviantArt.[1] On September 29th, 2016, an alternate flag was coined by nbandproud on Tumblr.[2] The flag's pink border represents femininity, the green background represents the separation of nonera from the gender binary, and the blue star represents individuality and relationship.[1] Later that year on October 8th, nbandproud on Tumblr coined 2 alternate flags.[3] Then on September 25th, 2021, transfeminine on DeviantArt coined an additional alternate flag.[4]
