Nonbin
Nonbin or nonbyn is an equivalent to enban and enby that has an unspecified age.[1] Similar to the word "guy", it can refer to a nonbinary individual of any age. "Enban" is the adult equivalent and "enby" is the child equivalent.
History
The term was coined at an unknown date by an unknown person. It is most likely a shortening of the word "nonbinary".
The alternate word "nonbyn" along with the flag were created by Tumblr user stagedqueer on September 22, 2025.[2] The word "nonbyn" was created to avoid confusion with the acronym "NonbIN", meaning "nonbinary in nature".
