Neunigender is a term describing when one's gender feels neutral/null, but they don't. Their gender feels neutral in some way(s), but they themselves do not feel neutral. One may:

  1. Feel disconnected from stereotypical neutral/null traits
  2. Feel like their neutrality/nullity is gendered but they themselves are not gendered
  3. Not feel related to neutrality/nullity outside of their gender identity
  4. Or any combination of the above.

The masculine counterpart is mascigender, the feminine counterpart is femnigender, the androgynous counterpart is angnigender, the outhrine counterpart is ounigender, and the xenine counterpart is xenigender.
