Amplusian
Amplusian (or amplusgender) is a gender that can be described as a lenient, non-strict, wide, or varied identity. This gender is not static, solid, or stable and can be fluid, fluctuating, or both. It can also be in a grey area between gender identities. Amplusian can be used as an umbrella term for any gender that changes in any way or is non-strict, and it can also be an identity on its own.
It is the opposite of suptilian.
Etymology
The Latin root "amplus" is an adjective meaning "abundant" or "ample".
History
Amplusian was coined by Tumblr user arco-pluris on March 15, 2018.
Flags
The amplusian flag was created on March 15, 2018 by arco-pluris. An alternate flag was created August 26, 2018 by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr. Tumblr blog gender-resource designed another flag on February 20, 2020. None of the flags have any confirmed meanings.
The fourth amplusian flag was designed on May 16, 2021 by FANDOM user ThatsJustKai. The meaning is not confirmed but it is assumed to be a straight-lined replication of the original amplusian flag.
A fifth amplusian flag was created by Twitter user @mogaiastra, 19th September 2021.
