Magigender is a gender identity and/or an umbrella term for identities that are mostly one gender and slightly another gender. It is similar to demigender, but is more specific. [1]

History

The term Magigender was coined during or before July 17, 2014 by a deactivated Tumblr user, most likely the user idislikecispeople. [2]

Flags

The magigender/maginonbinary, magigirl, and magiboy flag were all coined by Tumblr user clockworkgenesis on or before July 5th, 2015, and have no confirmed meaning.[1]

The purple maginonbinary, red magigirl, blue large strip magiboy, and magifluid flags were coined by an unknown user on or before August 23, 2015. The meanings are unknown.

The nine striped teal blue magigender, nine striped pink magigirl, nine striped blue magiboy flags were coined on or before August 27, 2015 by Tumblr user officialjohnconstantine. [3]

The nine striped yellow maginonbinary flag was coined by Deviantart user destinysgrace on or before July 2, 2016.

Magigirl

Magigirl is a gender identity in which an individual identifies as mostly a girl, and partially another gender. Magigirl is similar to demigirl.

Magiboy

Magiboy is a gender identity in which an individual identifies as mostly a boy, and partially another gender. Magiboy is similar to demiboy.

Magienby

Magienby, or Maginonbinary, is a gender identity in which an individual identifies as mostly non-binary, and partially another gender. Magienby is similar to deminon-binary.

Magifluid

Magifluid is a gender identity that is described as being fluid between magigender identities.
