Common Definitions

Gendership: An umbrella term for genders that feel related to shipping (in the pairing sense.) It may be related to ships, shipping, ship tropes, etc. in general, it may be related to specific ships, or it may be be related to anything else tied to the concept.

For some people, the identity might function like a ship, or be a ship itself. As an example, the different characters within the gender may feel like individual parts that are drawn to the others, creating the full identity. For instance, Character A and Character B may feel like individual components of one’s gender (or separate genders) that are in some way drawn or linked together in a way that makes the ship into the full identity(s). This may be considered multigender for some people.

It can also be written as gendershipec. The suffix is -ship or -shipec, and it can be used to make any kind of gendership subterms.
