Genderneutral is a neutral gender identity with three definitions:

  1. One's gender is neither male nor female.[3]
  2. One's gender is in the middle of male and female.[4]
  3. One's gender is in the middle of genderpositive and gendernegative[2]; synonym of agender.[5]

Common Definitions

Genderneutral or G±/G∓: a term describing the genderflux state when one feels that their gender is simultaneously present and not present; being in between gendernegative (G−) and genderpositive (G+).

History

The original genderneutral flag was created by Enbygsrd on September 16th, 2016.[6][4] The alternate genderneutral flag was created by Beyond-Mogai-Pride-Flags on December 27th, 2020.[2]
