Bitgender

Genderbit is a version of genderfluid where your gender is whatever is funniest. The name comes from the phrase "Do it for the bit" and the flag is based on the Twitch.tv logo. Other names are Bitgender, Twitchgender, Gendertwitch, Vinegender, or Gendervine. The last two reference "Do it for the vine".

History

The gender was coined by Blazemico on Tumblr on November 4th, 2025. It was first posted on Discord in a DM at 3:04 PM EST. It was then posted to the public on Tumblr at 3:07 PM EST.

Usage

Genderbit can be a gender on it's own, however it is meant to be an extention of other genders. For example, you can be Genderfaun, but if it's funny you'll be a girl.

The creator Blazemico is Genderhoarder, but also Genderbit.

Trivia

  • The original genderbit flag did not have the eyes and the black and purple was switched. Blazemico changed it before posting it as it looked too much like the false Dreamsexual flag. (The one about the Minecraft Youtuber Dream, not the one where you only feel attraction in dreams)
  • The original flag was made in MSPaint in like a minute
