Felisgender, also known as catusgender, is a faunagender identity with two definitions:

  1. Also known as catusgender; small, catlike gender that is up to more interpretation by those who identity with it. Similar genders include nekogender.
  2. An identity in the felinus system in which is a specified gender to small cat species under the genus felis, in which species such as the house cat is found.

Etymology

Under the first definition, the prefixes felis and catus are from the words feline and cat, respectively.

Under the second definition, felisgender is derived of the word felis, which is a genus under the family felidae.
