Exordinous is a term for genders that aren't ordinous (ex. outherine, maverine, ilyagine, xenine, itherine, etc). It can be used as a standalone term, describing those that fit one or more of these categories, or as an umbrella term.

Common Definitions

Exordinous (right): A word to describe genders that do not fall within ordinosity. This would include outherinity, maverinity, ilyaginity, xenity, itherinity, périnity, and anything else outside of ordinous genders or qualities. Exordinosity is the noun form. All of the previous examples of exordinous gender qualities have a unifying exordinosity to them.[1]

History

The term was coined, alongside ordinous, by Tumblr user your-bigender-big-brother on February 24, 2025.[1]
