Syntax: Type {{UnusedFile}} on the file page. you can also use {{UnusedFile|month = {{subst:CURRENTMONTH}}|day ={{subst:CURRENTDAY}}|year ={{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}}} (the substs are importent tell Wikia to place the date there instead of a template)
