Dorégender, also known as doréan or dorégic, is a gender identity where one feels little to no connection to their preferred labels, and rather uses them due to them being aesthetically, visually, and/or poetically appealing.

Common Definition

“Dorégender is a gender experience characterized by emotional detachment from gender and pronouns, where labels are chosen primarily for their aesthetic, visual, or poetic appeal rather than identity alignment.”
