Contortgender, also known as genderflec, distortgender, or genderdistort, is a gender identity in which one feels as if their gender is somehow different from a "normal" perspective, but do not know what is different. Their gender changes often, and they may not feel "correct" with any other existing gender labels.

One feels as if their gender is somehow twisted, warped, or distorted relative to what is conventionally thought about male, female, and/or even nonbinary labels. Their gender might feel different from societal expectations in some way, or uncomfortable and/or wrong in its current form, not matching any existing label cleanly.
