Definition

Captigender Flag

Captigender is a gender which is obscured by constant thoughts, that can feel trapped in a box. This can be caused by ADHD or other causes, but it can't be a gender all by itself. With this gender, it can take effort to perceive their gender identity. The best way I can describe is with an example: A genderfluid and captigender gender person has to concentrate to know their current gender, and they discover that they are non-binary at the moment. After that, their gender seems trapped again, as if in a box, obscured by turbulent, ever going, thoughts. They will have to check their gender again to see if it has changed later. This different from Filogender as with Captigender, your gender is always there, but it is obscured and hard to perceive. This gender can be a subset of ADHDgender if the person feels that their experience with this gender is connected to their ADHD, but this gender is not exclusive to people with ADHD.
