CTM AFAB
CTM AFAB is a gender identity for intersex people in which one feels as though, despite bodily being close to male, they are AFAB in some way or another, no matter what gender they were technically designated at birth.
Some common experiences may be as follows:
- having close to male genitalia (or generally considering yourself close to male) yet having other traits that are often seen in AFAB individuals, such as a high level of estrogen, gynecomastia / breast growth, less muscle mass or a decrease in muscle mass, a curvy body type, etc.
- being close to male or designated / assigned male at birth, yet being raised or perceived as an AFAB individual.
- being designated / assigned female at birth, yet due to other traits you consider yourself close to male.
- any other experience where you may consider yourself both close to male and assigned female at birth.
