Duobinary Definition, Uses and History.

Duobinary is a concept of gender expression and identity created by reddit user u/k_atlas_ in 2023.

They describe a duobinary person as someone who is both a man and a woman in some way.

This can include being bigender, multigender, androgyne, genderfluid, genderqueer, demigender and any other genders that are both male and female; genders that are binary.

Duobinary has also been used in a flag created by reddit user u/Red_Itsz for a flag request here:

Experiencing Multiple Genders as Duobinary.

The ratio of maleness and femaleness the person experiences is different for each individual. As is how the binary genders present themselves.

Some people may be all man at once, and all woman at once, with a clear separation between the two.

Some people may experience both genders at the same time, in equal or different measure.
