Dosgender (also known as deuxgender) is a subset of bigender in which one's genders are not male and female. For example, one's gender may be female and agender or two binaryn't gender identities at the same time.
It can also be described as being bigender while also not being male-female.
Etymology
The "dos" in the name comes from the Spanish word for "two." Deux is also the French word for the number "two" in the alternate name.
History
The term was coined by FANDOM user DeathByGlamourrrr on February 19, 2021. They also created the flag on the same day.
