Binonary is a gender modality in which a person is fully a binary gender (such as a woman or a man) while also being non-binary at the same time. This does not mean partial identity, dual genders, or fluidity. Instead, it describes a simultaneous coexistence: the person’s gender is entirely binary, yet their relationship to the gender binary as a system is non-binary. Both aspects are complete and stable, not blended or alternating. Example of binonarity: someone who identifies as both a binary man/woman but also as non-binary for being gender-fluid/genderflux/mutogender.
