Plerumquemasc (pronounced pleh-ROOM-kweh-mask) is a gender identity characterized by a predominantly masculine experience with a distinct, separate feminine aspect. The term combines the Latin word "plerumque" (meaning "mostly" or "for the most part") with "masc" (short for masculine).

Definition

Someone who is plerumquemasc experiences their gender as primarily masculine, with a small but complete feminine component that exists independently from their masculinity. Unlike fluid or blend-based gender identities, the feminine aspect in plerumquemasc remains separate and distinct from the masculine experience - comparable to having a small feminine "room" within a larger masculine "structure."

Characteristics

- Primary masculine gender experience that remains complete and undiminished

- Small but distinct feminine aspect that exists separately

- Both aspects are constant rather than fluid

- Feminine component doesn't blend with or modify the masculine experience

- Masculine and feminine parts exist simultaneously but independently

Distinction from Other Gender Identities

Plerumquemasc differs from similar gender identities in several ways:

- Unlike demiboy, where masculinity might be partial or mixed with other gender experiences, plerumquemasc masculinity is complete but coexists with a separate feminine aspect

- Different from bigender, which typically involves two equally present genders

- Not the same as genderfluid, as the aspects remain constant rather than shifting

- Distinct from masculine-aligned nonbinary identities where feminine aspects might blend with or modify the masculine experience
