Basothokin (singular: Mosothokin) is a xenogender identity where one's identity and gender expression is either linked to, has ann affinity for, or has a kinship with the nation of Lesotho and the Basotho people.
Definition
The Basothokin feel a distinct connection to the nation of Lesotho and its people the Basotho, and feel this defines their gender and gender expression. It is a xenogender. A Mosothokin can also be placefluid and have their gender or gender expression change when going in and out of Lesotho.
Basothokin may feel gender euphoria from partaking in traditional Basotho activities such as eating Jarti (traditional stew in Lesotho) or watching Tsii'pii (traditional Lesotho seasonal dance).
