People who have identified as lesboys, whom most were butch lesbians or gender nonconforming, were previously welcomed in the lesbian community before lesbian separatism took place. It is unknown when the term lesboy was coined, and people have been identifying as lesbian men for decades, but the shortened term lesboy is newer than the culture of lesbian boys and men. I am putting this in here to avoid any discrimination towards people who identify as lesboygender.<br />
