More information on this topic is covered on the [[sexism]] page; however, some brief examples include the following:<br /> <br /> *Pressuring one to alter or hide their sex traits due to them being &quot;unnatural.&quot; This also includes non-consensual surgeries often done on intersex youth in order to &quot;fix&quot; them.<br /> *Treating one as if they are a &quot;medical mistake&quot; due to their unique sex.<br /> *Mocking traits that are associated with intersex variations (common examples of this include laughing at [http://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/CTF close-to-female] individuals with beards, treating those with micropenises as less than/claiming they cannot be good at sexual activities/intercourse, mocking male-appearing intersex folks who can get pregnant/menstruate, etc.).<br /> *Arguing about the existence of one&#039;s sex traits and claiming that &quot;there are only two sexes&quot; and that they are simply a &quot;medical mistake&quot; of some kind.<br /> *Harassing an intersex individual based on what public bathrooms/spaces they use because of their non-traditional sex traits.
