New page

Aftgender is a gender identity in which one is aligned with the pronouns they were assigned at birth, but they desire to change their body to the opposing sex.

'Aftgender' originates from the prefix 'aft' meaning "at, near, or toward the stern of a ship or tail of an aircraft."

The opposite of aftgender is eftgender.

History
Aftgender was coined in January of 2021. The first mentions of aftgender were on Discord and Reddit. The term emerged on TikTok several days later.
Flag
The indigo in the aftgender flag represents inner balance and self love, and it's size represents that aftgender people are often, mostly cisgender, but just desire to change their bodies. The tan line represents duality and oneness. The light pink stripe represents health and love. <br />
